We don’t fancy chancing our luck on the roads at 150mph just to tune your car, which is why we operate our own 2WD chassis Dynamometer – also known as a Dyno or Rolling Road.
This allows us to fully calibrate an engine ECU in a safe and controlled environment. Low speeds, High Speeds, Low load, High load – it doesn’t matter, we can simulate just about every condition needed to fine tune your car, including those running aftermarket engine management.
We utilise a Sport Devices dyno controller and integrated data acquisition system which offers industry leading Eddy brake control, capable of holding back our upgraded KLAM CFK 550 eddy brake to well over 1000BHP!! The max we have seen on the dyno so far is 712BHP, where our braking effort was at a paltry 35%…. If you fancy beating it, give us a shout!
The data acquisition system allows us to externally measure and record every aspect of the Dyno run from the obvious such as Power, Torque and transmission losses, right through to Boost levels, Air Fuel Ratios, Temperatures and even OBD parameters for equipped vehicles.

Tuning cars is one thing… but the correct operation of a Dyno for repeatable and reliable measurement is another discipline in itself, and it is one that our in house calibrator Nick prides himself on.
But what about 4wd…?
We can run just about any car be it front wheel drive, rear wheel drive or even most 4wd cars with electronic diffs. That is how we can run Golf R`s, Audi S3/RS3`s – by simply deactivating the rear diff for the dyno runs. The only cars that we can`t run are permanent 4wd cars, but we do occasionally get the use of a permanent 4WD dyno for some jobs so this is also an option if that’s what you have.
