When an official VAG dealer performs a gearbox software update, any custom TVS software will be overwritten and lost. To address this, we offer our customers a free lifetime service by reflashing the TCU with their purchased TVS software. If the customer desires custom TVS software based on the updated software version, a small fee will be charged.
Regular maintenance at a VAG dealer will not overwrite TVS software. This only occurs when the dealer performs a software update.
TVS provides a lifetime warranty on their software for as long as you own the car. If the software is overwritten, we will restore it for you.
